Also address integrity) The Flagg House is architecturally significant as a characteristic example of the American Colonial Revival style. This house was originally constructed in 1940, and was valued at approximately $10,000, and constructed by Allison Honer, a prominent developer and contractor in Santa Ana that also completed such notable projects as the 1935 Art Deco styled Old Santa Ana City Hall, the E/ Toro Marine Base during World War 11, and the 1960 Honer Shopping Plaza, according to the original building permit. The first recorded occupants were Nora A. and A. G Flagg. A. G. Flagg was a prominent businessman that operated the "A. G. Flagg Printing & Bookbinding" business from the building located at 114 North Broadway. In addition, Mr. Flagg was also active in the community, holding meberships with the Elks Club, Santa Ana Country Club, Chamber of Commerce and the First Presbyterian Church.
