He is an industry leader in maximizing the capabilities of our <br />EMS computer-aided dispatching system. <br />Medical Director: Freddy Sotelo, MD, MPH, 3 years at Care <br />Freddy Sotelo, MD, MPH, serves as Care's Medical Director. Our <br />newest and a welcome addition to the team following the <br />retirement of Care's former Medical Director, Dr. Sotelo ensures <br />Care's staff operate within their scope of practice and in accordance <br />with all company, County, and State of California requirements. Dr. <br />Sotelo is also a key member of Care's QA/QI team, ensuring <br />individual and system -wide education addresses specific areas of <br />concern. Dr. Sotelo serves in the Department of Emergency <br />Medicine at Long Beach Memorial Hospital and is a member of the <br />UCLA Emergency Department and Surgical Department Quality <br />Improvement, Risk Management and Patient Safety Task Force. He <br />completed his residency and MPH at UCLA. <br />Jeff Talmage — Santa Ana Administrative Manager <br />Freddy Sotelo, MD, MPH <br />Medical Director <br />Daily supervision and oversight of Care's specific operations in the City of <br />Santa Ana is provided by Jeff Talmage. Prior to accepting employment with <br />Care, Jeff was a paramedic with the Santa Ana Fire Department and for the <br />last 16 years served as the City's Paramedic Coordinator. Jeff has more <br />than 33 years of experience in the City of Santa Ana and within the Orange <br />County EMS system.
