Application <br />EXHIBIT 1 <br />City of Santa Ana- CDBG <br />The attached application contains several questions regarding city residents. Residency of <br />participants is determined by the last permanent address. <br />The City will hold organizations accountable for the information included, such as expected <br />service level. <br />Review of Applications <br />Applications will be reviewed in the following order: <br />1. City staff will conduct a Minimum Threshold Review of the application to verify that it is <br />complete and in compliance with the eligibility of the CDBG program. <br />2. The Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission (CRHQ will: <br />o Review all of the applications. <br />o Hear presentations from all of the applicants. <br />o Consolidate their scores and recommendations to award funds to specific <br />programs to the City Council for final consideration. <br />3. City Council will review the recommendations provided by the CRHC for funding to <br />determine which programs and activities will be funded to most effectively serve the <br />needs of the community. <br />Anticipated Timeline <br />• January 2, 2019 <br />o Applications distributed to Nonprofit Organizations for the 2019-2020 Fiscal Year <br />• February 4, 2019 <br />o Applications due by 5:00 p.m. <br />• February 5, 2019 through March 7, 2019 <br />o Community Redevelopment & Housing Commission review and scoring of <br />applications <br />• February 26, 2019 and February 28, 2019 <br />o CRHC Public Hearings for CDBG funding recommendations held from 3:OOPM - <br />7:OOPM <br />• March 7. 2019 <br />o Special CRHC Meeting to deliberate and review scores <br />• March 27, 2019 <br />City of Santa Ana Community <br />Development Block Grant FY 2019 - <br />Printed On: 29 November 2018 2020 (Nonprofit Application) <br />1901-8 <br />
