employees to conduct business. The equipment and vehicles make up a fleet <br />that contributes to greenhouse gases as well as other pollutants to the <br />environment. Performing a fleet inventory allows us to evaluate our current <br />vehicles and equipment to better understand where efficiency might be <br />improved. The inventory includes surveying how the vehicle is used, as well as <br />its environmental impact and fuel usage. <br />Assess Green Fleet and Fleet Electrification <br />A "Green Fleet" minimized the negative environmental impacts, as well as <br />operating costs by improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions through <br />the use of alternative vehicles and fuels. Green fleets are developed by <br />purchasing more fuel-efficient vehicles, converting to cleaner fuels, training <br />drivers to operate vehicles for maximum efficiency, downsizing to small vehicles <br />and reducing use of motor vehicles. <br />Electric Vehicle Charging Station Infrastructure <br />The benefits of fueling transportation with electricity, rather than petroleum, are <br />especially pronounced in California since transportation represents a large <br />portion of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, California's <br />electricity supply is relatively clean compared to other states. Increasing the <br />fraction of miles that are electrically fueled translated to direct improvements in <br />air quality, reduced GHG emissions, and reduced dependence of fossil fuels. <br />Facilitating a faster migration to electrically fueled vehicles is one of the highest <br />impact strategies for making California's energy infrastructure more sustainable. <br />Implementation & Reporting <br />We plan to form a Cannalysis Sustainability Committee (CSC) which will lead the <br />development and implementation of the goals and initiatives stated in this report. <br />The CSC will be responsible for company -wide implementation and reporting <br />based on the Santa Ana Community Benefit and Sustainability Report. This plan <br />will be implemented through the 2020 Fiscal Year. This plan is a living document <br />and will evolve and change over time with a formal process to review, update, <br />and establish new goals at the end of each year. <br />Procurement — Green Purchasing Program: Cleaning Products <br />Green cleaning products offer effective performance while minimizing effects on <br />health, environment, and worker safety. Cannalysis plans to select <br />environmentally cleaning products for our headquarters.
