Steve M. Solis <br />Field Operations Manager <br />As a Field Operations Manager for Ninyo & Moore, Mr. Solis is responsible for per- <br />forming quality control and quality assurance testing of soil, aggregate, asphalt, and <br />concrete materials in accordance with applicable ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI. With <br />38 years of experience, his extensive project involvement includes both field and <br />laboratory testing of soils and construction materials. He is involved in geotechnical <br />observation and testing services during earthwork operations, including mass grading <br />operations, trench and wall backfill, and roadway and building pad subgrade prepa- <br />ration, as well as providing inspection of asphalt and concrete batch plants. For the new 19,924 -square -foot <br />laboratory, geotechnical evaluation and infiltration testing was performed to evaluate <br />the subsurface soil conditions and provide recommendations for construction, then <br />geotechnical, inspection, and materials testing services.
