jmf 11/28/18 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-093 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ADOPTING AND APPROVING FOR SUBMISSION <br />THE FY 2017/18 MEASURE M2 EXPENDITURE REPORT FOR <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br />A. Orange County Local Transportation Authority Ordinance No. 3 requires local <br />jurisdictions receiving Net Revenues as defined therein to adopt an annual <br />Measure M2 Expenditure Report to account for Net Revenues, developer/traffic <br />impact fees, and funds expended by local jurisdictions which satisfy the <br />Measure M2 Maintenance of Effort requirements. <br />B. The Measure M2 Expenditure Report shall include all Net Revenue fund <br />balances and interest earned, and identify expenditures by type (e.g., capital, <br />operations, administration) and program or project. <br />C. The Measure M2 Expenditure Report must be adopted and submitted to the <br />Orange County Transportation Authority each year within six months of the end <br />of the City's fiscal year for the City to be eligible to receive Net Revenues as <br />part of Measure M2. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the FY <br />2017/18 Measure M2 Expenditure Report, attached hereto as Exhibit A, conforms with <br />the Measure M2 Expenditure Report Template provided in the Renewed Measure M <br />Eligibility Guidelines and accounts for Net Revenues, including interest earned, <br />expenditures during the fiscal year, and balances at the end of fiscal year. <br />Section 3. The City Council adopts the FY 2017/18 Measure M2 Expenditure <br />Report, and directs the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency, or his or her <br />designee, to submit the Expenditure Report to the Orange County Transportation <br />Authority. <br />Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />Resolution No. 2018-093 <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
