WE'%'., <br />Ir. <br />City of Santa Ana <br />commit any and all available resources and assist OCFA and the City of Santa <br />Ana in accordance with disaster plans and protocols applicable in the locality <br />where the disaster has occurred. In the event of a disaster, the following shall <br />apply: <br />A. During such periods, Contractor will be released from the response time <br />requirements until notified by the OCFA Duty Officer that disaster assistance <br />is no longer needed; <br />B. When disaster assistance is no longer needed, Contractor must resume <br />performance pursuant to the Contract Documents as quickly as is practical <br />considering personnel exhaustion, medical supply restocking needs, and <br />other relevant considerations; <br />C. While performing disaster assistance, Contractor shall provide supervisory <br />assistance at the command post or emergency operations center as <br />requested and are to use best efforts to provide local emergency coverage; <br />Contractor must also suspend non -emergency transport services as <br />necessary, informing persons requesting non -emergency transport of the <br />reason for the temporary suspension; <br />D. During the course of a disaster, OCFA will work with Contractor to utilize <br />mutual aid providers who are authorized to perform such services within the <br />County to meet the service demands of the disaster. <br />4.3.13 Standard of Performance <br />Contractors must perform all work and services pursuant to the Contract <br />Documents in a skillful and workmanlike manner, and consistent with the <br />standards generally recognized as being employed by professionals in the <br />private, emergency ambulance transportation field in the State of California. <br />City of Santa Ana Page 150 <br />Fire/EMS Emergency Ambulance Transportation and Related Services <br />Request for Proposals: # 18-059 <br />August 28, 2018 <br />
