The City of Santa Ana received a total of thirteen <br />(13) proposals requesting over $52 million and 304 Project -Based Vouchers. We thank <br />you for your proposal and your commitment to develop affordable housing for the <br />residents of the City of Santa Ana. <br />In compliance with the City's Affordable Housing Funds Policies and Procedures adopted <br />by City Council on March 20, 2018, staff formed a Review Panel that consisted of the <br />Executive Director of the City's Public Works Agency with his designee, the Executive <br />Director of the Planning and Building Agency with his designee, the Executive Director of <br />the Community Development Agency, and the Housing Division Manager. The VAMC of <br />Long Beach, the County of Orange, Keyser Marston Associates, and MDG Associates <br />served as advisors to the Review Panel. The Review Panel used the proposal Scoring <br />and Selection Criteria from the RFP to conduct their review. In addition to the Scoring and <br />Selection Criteria from the RFP, the Review Panel also reviewed the proposed project <br />design for appropriateness for the proposed target group, compatibility with surrounding <br />uses, cost effectiveness of construction, and appropriateness of the design and <br />construction for low maintenance and long term durability. <br />On October 30, 2018, the Review Panel met and interviewed all of the developers who <br />submitted a proposal. LINC Housing requested to be removed from consideration prior to <br />their scheduled interview and therefore their proposal was removed from consideration. <br />On November 14, 2018, the Review Panel met a second time to discuss and deliberate <br />SANTA ANA CITY COUNCIL <br />Miguel A Pulido Mchde Matinee Vicente samtiento Jose Solodo P.
