Appropriation Adjustment for WIOA Rapid Response Funds <br />February 5, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />funds. The table below reflects the original budgeted amount and the final allocation for the <br />Rapid Response program: <br />The additional $121,033 in Rapid Response funds will be used to support and coordinate efforts <br />to avert layoffs in the effort to save jobs within the city. The funds will also be used in allowable <br />activities in response to layoffs, business closures, and natural disasters. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports efforts to meet Goal #2 — Youth, Education, Recreation; Objective <br />#4 (Partner with groups and organizations to promote education, senior services, job training and <br />development for all Santa Ana residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Approval of the appropriation adjustment will recognize $121,033 in revenue account (no. <br />12318002-52001) and increase Rapid Response expenditure accounts (no. 12318756 -various) <br />for expenditure in FY 2018-19. <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />�'=A - i " <br />Steven A.
