EBS General <br />Engineering, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive bid in the amount of $141,240 (Exhibit 2). <br />Based on the bid analysis and a contractor's reference check, staff recommends awarding the <br />construction contract to EBS General Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $141,240 (Exhibit 3). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 — Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy B (equitably maintain existing streets and associated assets in a state of good <br />repair so they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for all users), and Strategy G (develop <br />and implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in coordination with the Community <br />Investment Plan (e.g., neighborhood streets, traffic improvements, etc.). <br />23B-2 <br />
