EXHIBIT A <br />9.1.3 Light and Glare <br />Threshold: Would the proposed Project create a new source of substantial light or glare that would <br />adversely affect daytime or nighttime views in the area? <br />Finding: Less than significant impact. (Initial Study, pp. 15-16.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: All outdoor lighting would be hooded, appropriately angled away from <br />adjacent land uses, and would comply with the Santa Ana Municipal Code, Section 8-210 and Section 41- <br />611.1 that provides specifications for shielding lighting away from adjacent uses and relate to intensity of <br />security lighting. (Initial Study, p. 15.) Moreover, the Project would be required to comply with the City's <br />lighting regulations and such compliance would be verified during the permitting process. The lighting <br />increase in light that would be generated by the Project would not adversely affect day or nighttime views <br />in the area and would be less than significant. (Initial Study, pp. 15-16.) <br />9.2 Agriculture and Forest Resources <br />9.2.1 Farmland Conversion <br />Threshold: Would the Project result in the conversion of Prime Farmland, Unique Farmland, or <br />Farmland of Statewide Importance, as shown on the maps prepared pursuant to the Farmland Mapping <br />and Monitoring Program of the California Resources Agency, to non-agricultural land use? <br />Finding: No impact. (DEIR, p. 2-5; Initial Study, p. 18.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: The Project site is developed for urban uses and located in an area that is <br />completely developed for urban uses. The Project site and vicinity are void of agricultural uses and the <br />Project would not convert Prime Farmland, Unique Farmland, or Farmland of Statewide Importance <br />(Farmland), as shown on the maps prepared pursuant to the Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program <br />(FMMP) of the California Resources Agency, to non-agricultural use because no important farmland <br />exists within the Project site and the site is designated as Urban and Built -Up land. (Initial Study, p. 18.) <br />9.2.2 Agricultural Zoning <br />Threshold: Would the Project conflict with existing zoning for agricultural use, or a Williamson <br />Act contract? <br />Finding: No impact. (DEIR, p. 2-5; Initial Study, p. 18.) <br />Facts in Support of Finding: The Project site and vicinity is void of agricultural uses. No agricultural <br />zoning is located in the vicinity of the Project area and no parcels within the Project vicinity have <br />Williamson Act contracts. The Project would not conflict with a Williamson Act contract.
