"Students at UCI are tired of being <br />marginalized in Orange County's expensive housing market, where the limited supply of on -campus <br />housing forces commuters to travel long distances from affordable communities. Graduates and <br />young professionals are being pushed out of Orange County by a serious housing shortage, in <br />particular the limited supply of low- and moderate -income housing.
