<br />Project Manager. KOA prepared a feasibility study of the City's
<br />downtown area along Coast Highway. The corridor is heavily utilized by
<br />both vehicular traffic and pedestrians during the peak summer periods,
<br />creating congestion. After City Council approval of the study, KOA was
<br />contracted for the PS&E design and construction for five intersections
<br />that included extensions of left turn pockets, relocation and removal of
<br />crosswalks, relocating parking spaces, conversion of Ocean Avenue to a
<br />one-way street, and implementation of pedestrian scramble crosswalks
<br />at two locations.

<br />Project Manager. Since December 2007, KOA has been providing
<br />as -needed traffic engineering services for a wide variety of traffic -
<br />related projects. KOA has prepared grant applications, traffic studies,
<br />and signal design plans under the direction of the City. Mr. Calad has
<br />managed multiple signal modification/timing projects for the City.
