Opined need to have church remain to <br />meet the needs of the community. <br />• Adiel Depano, addressed City Council to approve Legacy Square project. <br />Commented project would provide affordable housing supply. <br />• Cynthia Guerra, supportive of project. Opined project would provide <br />affordable housing and meet the needs of the community. <br />• Concepcion Rodriguez, expressed support for project. <br />• Maricela Castro, supportive of project and access to dignified housing. <br />• Adela Montanez, supportive of project and of affordable housing. <br />• Kimberly Castro, supportive of Legacy Square project. <br />• Cesar Covarrubias, supportive of item and of affordable housing. Opined <br />project would provide opportunities to community. <br />There were no other speakers and the Hearing closed. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Councilmember Iglesias, requested staff to present what parking considerations <br />were taken and potential impact. <br />Alexa Washburn, provided parking overview and analysis. <br />Councilmember Penaloza, requested review of supportive services that will be <br />offered. <br />Linda Wilson, Housing Director for Mercy House, provided review of supportive <br />services to be offered. <br />Councilmember Solorio, expressed concern over parking. Suggested working <br />with staff to mitigate parking issues and reviewing Parking Management Plan <br />study. <br />Councilmember Sarmiento, directed staff to include Jeff Dickman in parking <br />study. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1.
