Opposed to project. <br />• Dimitri Lujan, opposed to development project. <br />• Jeff Dresser, opposed to development project. <br />• Jane Chapman, expressed concern as to density of project. Opposed to <br />development project. <br />• Christine Denny-Helvig, opposed to development project. <br />• Rich Gomez, on behalf of Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, urged <br />City Council to deny development project. <br />• Grant Henninger, urged City Council to approve development project. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Mayor Pulido, suspended hearing for two weeks and noted speakers who have <br />not had the opportunity to speak would be allowed to do so and speakers that <br />have already addressed City Council would not be able to speak a second time. <br />Councilmember Sarmiento, requested City Attorney to advise City Council on <br />process to adjourn proceedings. <br />City Attorney Carvalho, provided City Council with procedural review on <br />continuing proceedings to a future date. <br />Councilmember Iglesias, suggested having item continued to a stand-alone <br />meeting to address this item independently. <br />Mayor Pulido, suggested continued item to the next City Council meeting and <br />to keep agenda light. <br />Councilmember Solorio, suggested limited public comments. Supportive of <br />continued item to the next City Council meeting. <br />Councilmember Penaloza, requested clarification as to who will be allowed to <br />make public comment. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Villegas, requested City Attorney Carvalho to clarify the type of <br />meeting when adjourned. <br />Councilmember Sarmiento, requested confirmation that remaining speakers will <br />only be allowed to make comment. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 27 FEBRUARY 5, 2099 <br />1 OC -27 <br />
