APPROVE THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE SALE OF CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTIES WITH RESTRICTED USE OF PROCEEDS AND ALLOW FOR <br />DIRECT NEGOTIATION FOR SALE OF EXEMPT REAL PROPERTY PER SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 3, 2C, 5A & 6, 1G} – Public <br />Works Agency and Community Development Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency to proceed with the release of a Request for Proposals for the sale of <br />City-owned properties purchased with grant funding and with restricted use of <br />proceeds, and allow for direct negotiation for sale of exempt real property, <br />consistent with Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC) Article V, Sections 2-706 and 2- <br />709. <br /> <br /> <br />BUDGETARY MATTERS <br /> <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />20A. APPROVE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH ALDRIDGE GROUP FOR OFFICE <br />SPACE AT THE SANTA ANA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER (SARTC) <br />LOCATED AT 1000 E. SANTA ANA BLVD. SUITE 300 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3, <br />2C} – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br />1. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a site lease <br />agreement with Aldridge Group to compensate the City $4,082 per month, with <br />any partial month prorated at $134 per day, for the lease of 2,041 square feet of <br />office space located at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center, for a two- <br />year term beginning on February 20, 2019 through February 19, 2021, with an <br />option for twelve month-to-month extensions, for a total of $144,771 in lease <br />revenue for the entire term of the agreement, including optional extensions, <br />subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney (AGMT. No. 2019-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve appropriation adjustments. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2019-085 - Recognizing Fiscal Year 2018-19 <br />lease income in the amount of $16,328 into the Santa Ana Regional Transportation <br />Center Operations Rental-Aldridge Group Revenue Account and appropriating the <br />same amount to the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center Operations Contractual <br />Services expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 5 FEBRUARY 19, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br />
