There are many well to do high-end residential neighborhoods in California that have adjacent <br />high-density development on the edges, including high-density residential. This is what makes <br />walkable neighborhoods are when you add in destination places for eating, entertainment and <br />services. We all want to be able to live in our homes and walk to near by groceries, eateries, <br />movies, etc. And we can make that happen. We can get out of our cars and walk right in our <br />neighborhoods. It will be others that will drive here from other neighborhoods. That creates <br />vitality. And tax base. It makes sense. And it will increase our home values. <br />This 2525 Main Street development should be approved because it is good for all the residents of <br />Santa Ana and for the City's coffers. <br />These photos are not Santa Ana nor should they be, but we can have a similar vision that we all <br />can walk to: <br />
