Huizar, City Clerk <br />Clerk of the Council Office <br />City of Santa Ana <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, 8th Floor <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />clerk@ci.santa-ana.ca.us <br />Re: CPQA and Land Use Notice Request for the Main Place Mall Transformation <br />Project <br />Dear Mr. Pezeshkpour, Ms. Neal, Ms. Bernal, and Ms. Huizar: <br />I am writing on behalf of the Laborers International Union of North America, Local Union 652 and its <br />members living in the City of Santa Ana ("LiUNA"), regarding the master plan prepared for the Main <br />Place Mall Transformation Project including all actions related or referring to the proposed construction of <br />up to 1,900 residential units, 400 hotel rooms, 1,400,000 total square feet of commercial space, and up to <br />750,000 square feet of office space, using the existing mall as the core of the property located at 2800 <br />North Main Street in the City of Santa Ana ("Project"). <br />We hereby request that City of Santa Ana ("City") send by electronic mail, if possible or U.S. Mail to our <br />fnrn at the address below notice of any and all actions or hearings related to activities undertaken, <br />authorized, approved, permitted, licensed, or certified by the City and any of its subdivisions; and/or <br />supported, in whole or in part, through contracts, grants, subsidies, loans or other forms of assistance from <br />the City, including, but not limited to the following: <br />• Notice of any public hearing in connection with the Project as required by California Planning and <br />Zoning Law pursuant to Government Code Section 65091. <br />z <br />
