2525 North Main Street <br />January 14, 2019 <br />Page 24 <br />Table 13: Public Notification <br />I Public Notification & Community Outreach <br />Required Measures I A Sunshine Ordinance Community Meeting was held on November 15, 2017 <br />6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. � total of 263 people signed in,1_- <br />A public notice will be posted on the project site on January 4, 2019. <br />Notification by mail will be mailed on January 4, 2019 to all property owners and <br />occupants within 500 feet of the project site and notification will be provided to <br />all interested parties that have requested to receive a notice with contact <br />information on file with the City <br />Newspaper posting will be published in the Orange County Register on Januar, <br />4. 2019. <br />Conclusion <br />Staff is supportive of General Plan Amendment No. 2018-01 and Amendment Application No. <br />2018-10 for the site as redevelopment of the site with a residential development will provide <br />additional housing in a prime location that is accessible to retail and employment opportunities <br />with multimodal transportation options and the project provide general fund revenue. In <br />addition, public benefits of the Development Agreement include: public art, monetary <br />contribution to the Santiago Park Maintenance & Improvement Fund, access to on-site amenities <br />for Park Santiago residents, security patrol of the residential neighborhood and Santiago Park, <br />and <br />monetary contribution to Park Santiago Neighborhood Improvements and Traffic Calming and <br />Parking, for improvements such as street calming, traffic diversion, entry monuments, �ndstreet <br />light retrofits[.
