APPROVAL OF TERMS FOR RESIDENT VEHICLE INCENTIVE PROGRAM <br />(VIP) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3, 3C} — Community Development Agency <br />The following spoke on the matter: <br />Peter Whittingham, on behalf of Orange County Auto Dealers Association, <br />supportive of staff preparing ongoing status report to City Council every two <br />years. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Villegas, supportive of two-year reporting cycle. <br />Councilmember Solorio, supportive of item with ongoing oversight. <br />Acting City Manager Mendoza, provided City Council with review of proposed <br />program and requested City Council to provide further direction as needed. <br />Noted agreement to be presented for Council consideration in 30 days. <br />Mayor Pulido, supportive of creating an efficient process that minimizes the <br />need to engage staff. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1. Approve Terms of Resident Vehicle Incentive Program as agreed upon <br />after deliberation of the City Council. <br />2.
