APPROVE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT WITH WEST COAST ARBORIST, <br />INC. FOR TREE MAINTENANCE SERVICES {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1 B} <br />— Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency; and Public Works <br />Agency <br />MOTION. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute <br />an amendment to the agreementwith West CoastArborists, Inc. to provide <br />tree maintenance services for the City by: <br />increasing the annual agreement amount by $348,535, which includes <br />$248,535 for the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency <br />and a $100,000 for the Public Works Agency for the second year of the <br />first, two-year renewal option period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, <br />2019, for a total annual cost of $1,679,302.60 (AGMT. No. 2019-031)., <br />and <br />2. increasing the annual agreement amount by $100,000 for the Public <br />Works Agency for the second, two-year renewal option period of July <br />1, 2019 through June 30, 2021, for a total annual cost of $1,290,767.60, <br />subject to non -substantive changes approved by.the City.Manager and <br />City Attorney (AGMT. Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to <br />execute an agreement with Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange <br />County (dba NeighborWorks Orange County) to provide bicycle safety <br />education services, for the one-year period beginning February 19, 2019, <br />through February 18, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $50,000, subject to <br />non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(AGMT.
