Additionally, <br />the agreement prevents inappropriate alterations to the historic structures (Exhibits 2-4). <br />The historic structures under consideration for approval of a Mills Act Contract include the <br />following: <br />The Drips House — An existing one-story Craftsman Bungalow style residence that is <br />approximately 1,589 square feet in size with a detached garage. The home was added to the <br />Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties in 2001 and categorized as "Key." <br />The Crookshank House — An existing two-story Colonial Revival style residence that is <br />approximately 2,708 square feet in size. The home was listed in the National Register of <br />Historic Places in 1999, as a contributor to the French Park Historic District, and added to the <br />Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties in 2000 and categorized as "Landmark." <br />The Spurgeon Building — An existing four-story Commercial style commercial building that is <br />approximately 54,400 square feet in size. The building was individually listed in the National <br />Register of Historic Places in 1980 and listed again in 1984 as a contributor to the Downtown <br />Historic District. In addition, it was added to the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties in <br />2001 and categorized as "Landmark." <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project is exempt from <br />further review. Categorical Exemption ER No. ER -2018-126, ER -2018-132, and ER -2018-133 will <br />be filed for this project. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #2 (expand opportunities for conservation and <br />environmental sustainability) and Objective #3 (facilitate diverse housing opportunities and <br />support efforts to preserve and improve the livability of Santa Ana neighborhoods). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The Historic Property Preservation Agreement will reduce the Property Tax revenue account <br />01102002-50011 to the City by an estimated $4,508.85 annually noted below, for a period of not <br />less than ten years. <br />25A-2 <br />
