Ensure Accurate Support Federal legislation and <br />Census 2020 funding to fully fund the 2020 <br />Census and provide the necessary <br />resources required to achieve a <br />fair and accurate census, <br />especially among hard -to -count <br />populations. <br />Oppose the US Department of <br />Justice's request to add a new <br />untested question relating to an <br />individual's citizenship status, <br />adding to fears that the census <br />submission could further lead to <br />potentially serious undercount. <br />e : 1 <br />(IT) IT Department implemented a new <br />website which includes portals for both <br />tabular and GIS open data. The <br />department is working with other city <br />departments to make more of their data <br />available to the public <br />(CM) The city has secured $15,000 from <br />the State of California under the Local <br />Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) in <br />order to ensure an accurate census <br />count. Santa Ana hosted a regional round <br />table with key stakeholders and <br />developed a community outreach plan to <br />achieve a fair and accurate census count. <br />(TPA) monitored and provided <br />information on budget proposals to <br />include funding for activities related to <br />census 2020. The final state budget <br />included $90 million for various activities <br />related to the preparation for the 2020 <br />census. <br />The city continues to face an increasing demand for services and works diligently to fulfill the <br />needs of the community. As an organization, the city continues to develop innovative and <br />efficient methods to deliver services.
