<br />7 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES July 23, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Commission discussion ensued regarding building design, landscaping, community <br />outreach, reduced street parking, and maximum number of allowable units in the Metro <br />East Mixed Use Overlay Zone. <br /> <br />The applicant spoke in support of the matter. Written communication in support of the <br />project was received from Gil Silva Chair. McLoughlin opened the Public Hearing. The <br />following spoke on the matter: <br /> <br /> Trisha Vasquez expressed concerned with reduced street parking on Elk Lane; it <br />will be an issue for the neighboring Tustin residents. <br /> Lisandro Orozco expressed support for the project; project will reduce street <br />parking but believes the positive impacts outweigh the negative impacts. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers and the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />B-7
