Description: "One with Nature" By Bud Herrera <br />Acrylic and Aerosol on Canvas <br />One with Nature: 3.5ft x 4.5 <br />I choose to paint this image, not because of religious or ethnic reasons, but more of using the <br />Buddha as a recognizable image that represents happiness, peace, love and unity. As a Chicano <br />artist, painting such image is also a statement of embracing others culture and showing <br />diversity in the Downtown Santa Ana community. With that, adding elements of astrological <br />beauty, sedulity of greenery and monarch butterfly encompassing the space this will create an <br />ultimate state of Zen in a space where families, kids, and youth congregate. <br />
