Quarterly Report for Housing Choice Voucher Program <br />May 1, 2018 <br />Page 4 <br />Recertifications 1 Interims: <br />8, Re -exams & Interims <br />Each year, the Housing Authority must re -certify <br />every assisted -family to verify the family is still <br />350 <br />eligible for assistance. In addition, when a <br />300 <br />participant's income changes, an interim <br />200 <br />192 141 117 <br />examination must be performed. During the <br />reporting period, a total of 869 recertifications and <br />150 <br />100 <br />interims were conducted. Chart 8 illustrates the <br />sa <br />a <br />number of recertifications and interims performed. <br />January February March <br />Other Change of Unit: <br />Re -Exams Interims <br />_. <br />These actions are completed when a family moves to a different rental unit. Fourteen change of <br />unit actions were processed during the reporting period. <br />New Admissions: <br />This action is completed when a family is admitted to the HCV Program. Eighteen new <br />admissions were processed during the reporting period. <br />End of Participation: <br />This action is completed when the family is no longer interested in participating in the program, is <br />deceased, participant is no longer eligible for the program, or terminated from the program due to <br />program violations.
