Quarterly Report for Housing Choice Voucher Program <br />November 20, 2018 <br />Page 4 <br />Recertifications I Interims: 400 <br />Each year, the Housing Authority must re -certify 350 <br />every assisted -family to verify the family is stili 340 - <br />eligible for assistance. In addition, when a 250 s> <br />participant's income changes, an interim 200 <br />examination must be performed. During the 150 <br />reporting period, a total of 833 recertifications and IN <br />interims were conducted. Chart 8 illustrates the so <br />number of recertifications and interims performed. ° <br />July <br />8. Re -exams & Interims <br />Aigwst September <br />Other Change of Unit: ■ R2 -Exams Interims <br />These actions are completed when a family <br />moves to a different rental unit. Eleven change of unit actions were processed during the <br />reporting period. <br />New Admissions: <br />This action is completed when a family is admitted to the HGV Program. Sixty-two new <br />admissions were processed during the reporting period. <br />End of Participation: <br />This action is completed when the family is no longer interested in participating in the program, <br />the family becomes deceased, the family is no longer eligible for the program, or the family is <br />terminated from the program due to program violations. Twenty-nine end of participations were <br />processed during the reported period.
