<br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Receive and file Quarterly Report of Contracts <br />entered into between January 1, 2019 to March 31, 2019 valued at $25,000 and less. <br /> <br /> <br />BUDGETARY MATTERS <br /> <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />20A. APPROVE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT OF $12,928 AND AMENDMENT TO <br />AGREEMENT WITH STRAIGHT TALK CLINIC, INC. FOR REHABILITATION <br />AND REPAIR OF PERMANENT HOUSING FOR PERSONS WITH HIV/AIDS <br />NOT TO EXCEED $20,728 {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 5,3; 5,4; 5,6} – Community <br />Development Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />amendment with Straight Talk Clinic, Inc. to add funds and a new scope of work <br />to the original agreement, for the rehabilitation and repair of a single-family <br />permanent housing property utilizing Housing Opportunities for Persons with <br />AIDS funding in the amount not to exceed $20,728, subject to non-substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (AGMT. No. 2019- <br />XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2019–130 - Recognizing Housing <br />Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program prior year funds in the amount of <br />$12,928 in revenue account and appropriate the same amount to the Payment to <br />Subagent expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIFICATIONS – PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES <br /> <br />22A. AWARD CONTRACTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $325,000 FOR CHARTER BUS <br />SERVICES (SPECIFICATION NO. 19-005) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 2, 3: 5, 3, 4} - <br />Finance and Management Services Agency; Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Agency; and Police Department <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Reject the bid from Zum Services, Inc. as nonresponsive. The business model <br />presented does not meet the City’s requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Award contracts for charter bus services for a five-year period expiring March 31, <br />2024, for a total aggregate amount between the two selected vendors for a not to <br />exceed amount of $325,000, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the <br />City Manager and City Attorney.
