The . <br />program provided a total of 1.2 million dollars for Orange County to implement CSEC services. <br />_...___.._oversaw implementation of A13.74 to successfully transition children from congregate care, to a lower level <br />to include family -based care in Orange County. <br />*Directed and Implemented a Visitation Coaching Model in Orange County to decrease time to reunification <br />for children in foster care. <br />*Implemented the Vertical Intake & Investigations program to ensure continuity and quality customer services <br />to children and families entering the child dependency system. <br />*Oversaw the implementation of SB 528, authorizing social workers to provide dependent children with age <br />appropriate sexual health information. This also included the development of the OC Foster Youth <br />Pregnancy and Prevention Steering Committee and the development of the CFS Policy & Procedure for <br />Reproductive Health. <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Division Director- Family Self Sufficiency & Adult Services 11/2018 -Current <br />Direct oversight of approximately 900 staff charged with providing services and resources for adults to assist <br />them in gaining self- sufficiency and provide services to vulnerable adults. <br />Deputy Director, Children & Family Services -10/2013-2018 <br />County of Orange Social Services Agency— Orange, California - <br />*Direct oversight of approximately 330 Children and Family Services staff charged with the administration of <br />child welfare services and best practice <br />Fiscal Management of a $100 million dollar annual operating budget <br />*Direct Leadership of Dependency Intake & Investigation. Staff in this assignment are responsible for <br />investigating allegations of child abuse and making recommendations to juvenile court regarding the sustaining <br />of the petition and the disposition of the case to family reunification, family maintenance, or permanency for <br />the child. <br />*Direct Leadership of Specialized Family Services. Staff in this assignment work primarily with children that <br />medically compromised and have very specialized medical needs are responsible for delivery of court <br />ordered services, development of case plans toward family reunification, monitoring child placement, and <br />providing support services for parents and children who are medically compromised and have very <br />specialized medical needs. <br />13E-14 <br />
