DEFINITIONS <br />Agency <br />"Agency" means each City and the County of Orange that participates in <br />OCTAP. <br />2. Area of Jurisdiction <br />"Area of Jurisdiction" of each Agency means the area within the boundaries of a <br />City, or for the County means the unincorporated area, including John Wayne Airport. <br />3. ASE <br />"ASE" means the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. <br />4. Bandit Taxicab <br />"Bandit Taxicab" refers to a Taxicab operating within the Area of Jurisdiction of <br />any OCTAP Agency without a valid OCTAP permit, when one is required, or other <br />permit issued by a permitting agency that is accepted by the OCTAP Agencies. . <br />5. BAR <br />"BAR" means the Bureau of Automotive Repair. <br />6. Company <br />"Company" includes a natural person, firm, association, organization, partnership, <br />business, trust, corporation, or public entity. <br />7. Company Permit <br />"Company Permit"means a valid permit issued by OCTAP authorizing a Company <br />to operate a Taxicab business within the Area of Jurisdiction of any participating Agency, <br />which allows the Company to serve that Agency. <br />8. Driver <br />"Driver" means a person who has a valid OCTAP-issued Driver Permit. <br />Page 4 of 32 <br />55A-11 <br />
