EXHIBIT 3 <br />Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby agrees to <br />endeavor to secure funding for the remaining $90,000 per site for the purchase of the <br />equipment plus the additional amount for installation (estimated to be $30,000 per site), <br />for an estimated total of $600,000, to construct the outdoor Fitness Court@ at five City <br />sites; <br />Section 4. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana will endeavor to construct <br />and launch the outdoor Fitness Court@ by the end of the 2019 calendar year, contingent <br />upon funding; and <br />Section 5. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana believes the outdoor <br />Fitness Court@ is an important recreation facility to support the health of the community <br />by making "world -class" fitness free at Jerome Park, El Salvador Park, Delhi Park, <br />Rosita Park, and the Civic Center, to fund an outdoor bodyweight circuit training Fitness <br />Court@, and to earn local and national recognition as a leader in providing affordable <br />health and wellness. <br />Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 2019. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />nn <br />SoniaR.
