RESOLUTION 2019-XXX <br />3.92% <br />PROPOSED <br />REVENUE <br />FY 18-19 <br />FY 19-20 <br />ACCOUNT <br />DEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT <br />FEES <br />FEES <br />SECTION IX <br />PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />164) Refunds <br />46.27 <br />48.08 <br />Upon written request from the permittee, refunds of permit <br />fees may be made to the permittee In an amount equal to 80%. <br />of the permit fee, exclusive of the plan check and issuance <br />fee; except that no permit fees shall be refunded under any <br />of the fallowing circumstances: <br />(1) 180 days has elapsed from the date of the Issuance <br />of the permit <br />(2) Inspectionshave been performed by the Building Safety <br />Division <br />If a permit has been Issued for a project located In an area <br />outside of the jurisdiction of the City, 100%of the permit <br />and plan check fee may be refunded. If a permit has been <br />erroneously Issued, 100%of the permit and plan check fee <br />may be refunded. <br />If a plan check fee has been paid and the plan is withdrawn <br />by the applicant prior to the plan check, refunds of plan <br />check fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal <br />to 100%of the plan check fee in excess of $46,27 paid. <br />In no other case may any plan check fees be refunded. <br />Waiver of Fee <br />No permit or plan check fees required by this resolution will <br />be charged for public improvement projects performed by <br />construction contractors and subcontractors pursuant to contract <br />with the City of Santa Ana or the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed by <br />employees of the City in the course of their employment. <br />However, this fee waiver does not exempt any party from <br />obtaining a permit for such work nor exempt such party from <br />conforming to the procedures established by the City nor from <br />compliance with all applicable City and State ordinances <br />regulating such work. <br />Note: The volume for Plan Check activity has been reduced to reflect the fact that <br />contract services and overtime are used to complete a portion of activity. <br />°I Not all re -roofing activities require plan check. Material and current structure design <br />will be the decidingfactor. <br />nl This service will be charged an Initial deposit and then charged by hourly rate. <br />`I These services were reallocated across fee areas as on overhead. <br />aI Up to 10 racks. Each additional rack will be charged at $11.91 each. <br />11.91 <br />12.38 <br />'I Hourly rates will be charged after the minimum is met, !f required. <br />n This revenue is earmarked for the General Plan Update and is not included in new revenue figures. <br />All plan check services reflect an initial plus two rechecks. Additional reviews will be charged on an <br />hourly basis.
