Estimate the number <br />The 2018 Point in Time (PIT) conducted by the City of Santa Ana <br />and type of families <br />showed that there were over 1600 individuals experiencing <br />that will benefit from <br />homelessness in Santa Ana. This number represented an increase of <br />the proposed <br />121% from the 2017 Point In Time count. In January of 2019, the <br />activities <br />County of Orange conducted the PIT for the entire county. While the <br />numbers of individuals experiencing homelessness increased <br />Countywide, the Point in -Time Count showed that 1769 of the Counties <br />6,860 homeless individuals are in Santa Ana. The City has <br />increased efforts to assist those o�p�n,t treets and encampments have <br />been reduced. The City will cogi".
