CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />MOTION: <br />Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a First <br />Amended and Restated Phase II Memorandum of Understanding with the <br />Santa Ana Workforce Development Board and the City of Santa Ana - <br />WORK Center, State of California Employment Development <br />Department, County of Orange Social Services Agency, SER — Jobs for <br />Progress, Inc., State of California Department of Rehabilitation, Santa <br />Ana Housing Authority which outlines the sharing of resources and <br />expenses associated with the operations of a comprehensive one stop <br />center for a term beginning May 7, 2019 to June 30, 2022 and <br />reimbursement from the partners in the estimated amount of $1,280,530, <br />subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney (AGMT. No. 2019-070). <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute non - <br />substantive amendments such as adjustment of shared operational <br />expenses during the term of the Memorandum of Understanding. <br />3. Authorize the City Manager <br />sublease agreement with the <br />in which the County agrees <br />exceed $189,788 for a term <br />substantive changes approve <br />(AGMT. No. 2019-071). <br />and Clerk of the Council to execute a <br />County of Orange Social Services Agency <br />to pay rent to the City an amount not to <br />expiring June 30, 2023, subject to non- <br />:d by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />4. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a <br />sublease agreement with the State of California Employment <br />Development Department in which the State agrees to pay rent and <br />reimburse one-time charge for tenant improvements to the City an <br />amount not to exceed $1,166,005.96 for a term expiring June 30, 2023, <br />subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney (AGMT. No. 2019-072). <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY ACTION <br />MOTION: <br />Authorize the Executive Director and Recording Secretary to execute a <br />First Amended and Restated Phase II Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the Santa Ana Workforce Development Board which outlines the <br />sharing of resources and expenses associated with the operations of a <br />comprehensive one stop center for a term beginning May 7, 2019 to June <br />30, 2022 and payment to the City of Santa Ana in the estimated amount <br />of $30,005, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the <br />Executive Director and Authority General Counsel. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 26 MAY 7, 2019 <br />1 OA-26 <br />
