The following notice is being provided so that you can ask questions, <br />make comments and stay informed about changes in land use, fees or other <br />projects that might be important to you. We encourage you to contact us if you <br />have any questions. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN - The City Council of the City of Santa Ana will <br />consider adopting an ordinance to amend sections 10-196 to 10-199 to Chapter 10, <br />Article III of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, allowing the City of Santa Ana to recover <br />their costs when providing an appropriate emergency response to an incident <br />proximately caused by a persons' negligent operation of an automobile while under the <br />influence of an alcoholic beverage or drug, pursuant to Government Code Section <br />53150. <br />The title of the ordinance is as follow: <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-2965 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTIONS 10-196 TO 10-199 TO CHAPTER 10, <br />ARTICLE III OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND RE-CLASSIFYING <br />ARTICLE III TO INCLUDE A SECTION FOR THE RECOVERY OF EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE COSTS FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE INCIDENTS <br />Meeting Time and Date — This matter will be heard on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at <br />5:45 p.m, or immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Closed Session, in the City Council <br />Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701.
