Main Street <br />City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California <br />In accordance with our two proposals dated May 31, 2018, and August 31, 2018, <br />Leighton and Associates, Inc. (Leighton) is pleased to present this report of our <br />feasibility geotechnical exploration for the proposed MainPlace Mall Transformation <br />Project located at 2800 N. Main Street, City of Santa Ana, Orange County, California. <br />The proposed transformation plan is to convert the existing mall to an urban mixed -use <br />development consisting of hotels, office buildings, retails, multi -level multi -family <br />residential buildings, and new parking structures. Based on the results of our <br />exploration of the site, the proposed transformation plan is feasible from a geotechnical <br />point of view. This report summarizes 1) the findings of our exploration, 2) geotechnical <br />design considerations for the proposed transformation, and 3) preliminary <br />recommendations for the associated developments.
