MainPlace Mall Transformation Project 12126.001 <br />5 LIMITATIONS <br />Leighton Consulting, Inc.'s work was performed using the degree of care and skill <br />ordinarily exercised, under similar circumstances, by reputable geotechnical consultants <br />practicing in California at this time. No other warranty, express or implied, is made as to <br />the conclusions and professional opinions included in this report. <br />The conclusions and recommendations in this report are based in part upon data that <br />were obtained from a necessarily limited number of observations, site visits, <br />excavations, samples and testes. Such information can be obtained only with respect <br />to the specific locations explored, and therefore may not completely define all <br />subsurface conditions throughout the site. The nature of many sites is that differing <br />geotechnical and/or geological conditions can occur within small distances and under <br />varying climatic conditions. Furthermore, changes in subsurface conditions can and do <br />occur over time. Therefore, the findings, conclusions, and recommendations presented <br />in this report should be considered preliminary if unanticipated conditions are <br />encountered and additional explorations, testing and analyses may be necessary to <br />develop alternative recommendations. <br />This report has been prepared for the express use of Kimley-Horn Associates, Inc. and <br />its design consultants, and only as related expressly to the assessment of the <br />geotechnical constraints of developing the subject site and for construction purposes. <br />This report may not be used by others or for other projects without the express written <br />consent of our firm. <br />20 <br />Leighton <br />
