SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Aquatics Monitoring amid Supervision at El Salvador and Salgado Pools <br />Lifeguards <br />a) Provide lifeguards with the following certifications: American Red Cross <br />Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid, and AED. <br />b) Provide weekly mandatory safety in-service training to handle all emergencies <br />including but not limited to practicing rescue techniques and various scenarios. <br />c) Provide no less than 3 lifeguards at each pool that includes 1 supervisor and 2 <br />lifeguards. <br />d) Assigned lifeguards will check in with designated city staff at the beginning of <br />each shift. <br />e) Monitor pools use for compliance with all posted rules and maximum occupancy <br />requirements. <br />f) Open and close facilities daily. <br />2. Pool Facility Safety Audits <br />a) Check the safety of each facility daily. <br />b) Ensure lifeguards are vigilant and in compliance with safety standards and <br />procedures. <br />c) Use water test kits provided by the city to check chlorine and pH levels as <br />appropriate and complete chemical balance log provided by city. <br />d) Follow city procedures when chlorine and/or pH levels are not safe. <br />e) Contact city emergency 24 hour contact to resolve pool maintenance issues. <br />f) Follow open and closing procedure provided by the city. <br />3. Supervisor <br />a) Use GPS monitoring system to monitor staff and ensure lifeguards are at assigned <br />pool site. <br />b) (949) 887-5985 is point of contact available 24 hours to the City to resolve <br />scheduling issues or no-shows. <br />c) Scheduling lifeguards daily <br />d) Report any accident and/or emergency with designated city staff. <br />e) Complete accident reports required by city. <br />4. Schedule <br />a) Provide services pursuant to this Agreement and the daily schedule as follows: <br />Monday: Closed except for Labor Day, September 2, 2019 <br />Tuesday -Sunday: 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. <br />Public Swim <br />Session 1 11:30 am. to 1:00 p.m. <br />Session 2 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />#721v4 <br />10 <br />
