c. Equipment, including assessment -related products and assistive technology for individuals <br />with disabilities; and, <br />d. Technology to facilitate access to the AJCC, including technology used for the center's <br />planning and outreach activities. <br />Changes in the AJCC Partners or an appeal by an AJCC Partner's infiwtructure cost contributions <br />will require an amendment of the MOU. <br />13) COST ALLOCATION METHODOLOGY <br />The purpose of this inflastructure cost sharing methodology is to summarize, in writing, the <br />methods and procedures that the SAWDB will use to share costs with the AJCC Partner. The <br />AJCC Partner agrees. that it will be charged on a monthly basis according to the following cost <br />sharing methodology, and that monthly payment will be submitted within the first ten (10) calendar <br />days of each month. <br />14) INFRASTRUCTURE COST ALLOCATION METHODOLOGY <br />a. Rent Costs: Rent costs shall be based only on the base rent. The base rent is derived from <br />the total assigned square footage, calculating the percentage of usage by AJCC Partner and <br />applying that percentage to the common area square footage. Assigned square footage plus the <br />percentage of common area square footage equals total square footage for each AJCC Partner. <br />Total square footage for each AJCC Partner multiplied by the base rent per square foot equals total <br />base rent for each AJCC Partner as indicated in the AJCC Comprehensive Infrastructure Budget, <br />and Other System Cost Budget and the Comprehensive Cost Allocation and Partner Contributions. <br />The base rent has an annual increase of no more than 3% over the five-year life of the Office Lease <br />document (Attachment 5 attached herewith and incorporated herein by reference). <br />b. Utilities and Maintenance: This section includes only telephone services, which includes <br />voice -mail on AJCC Partners' phones. Costs for staff phones are charged based on the AJCC <br />Partner's assigned space. Common area phones will be charged according to space allocation. <br />c. Telephones: Telephone costs include the cost of purchasing and installing a new phone <br />system utilized by the AJCC Partners. Telephone costs are based on the actual cost for telephones <br />in assigned spaces. Common area telephones are allocated based on percentage of space allocation. <br />d. Technologv and Internet Access Costs: Installation of Network Wireless Bridge will be a <br />monthly charge based on costs from the vendors (see Attachment 3). The cost per AJCC Partner <br />is derived from the calculation of total percentage of space used by each AJCC Partner. Recurring <br />monthly charges for Internet, Wi-Fi and other technology charges are allocated based on the <br />percentage of total space allocated. Access Card System installation and programing of the key <br />card system, Data & Phone cabling and Switches will be a monthly charge to all collocated <br />Partners based on allocated space. <br />15) INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRIBUTIONS <br />The AJCC Partner may provide cash, non -cash (in- kind), and third -party in -kind contributions to <br />cover its share of infrastructure costs.
