A. Development Team <br />JHC's mission is to deliver quality affordable housing and services that transform lives and <br />strengthen communities. JHC develops, acquires, renovates and manages affordable rental and <br />ownership housing while providing a continuum of social services to residents. The <br />organization's Development team is experienced in new construction, as well as acquisition and <br />rehabilitation of existing structures, while the Asset Management team provides effective <br />property management and programming following project completion. <br />JHC is a CHDO certified at the State and County level as well as by various California cities. <br />OCCHC's Board members are professionals in real estate and related fields. <br />JHC is headquartered in Irvine and the staff works alongside various advisors and consultants in <br />the development and management process. The Development Team involved in the Project <br />will include the following: <br />1. Laura Archuleta, President— Prior to joining JHC in 1999, Laura Archuleta held positions <br />in the public sector where she was responsible for the development and preservation of <br />thousands of affordable homes throughout California. She has worked for the cities of <br />Garden Grove, Anaheim and Cypress, and served as Deputy Redevelopment Director for <br />the City of Palmdale. She serves on the board of California Housing Consortium and <br />Building Industry Association of Orange County. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in <br />Criminal Justice and a master's degree in Public Administration from California State <br />University, Fullerton. <br />2. Marcy V. Finamore, Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer— Prior to joining <br />JHC in 2001, Marcy Finamore was Assistant Asset Manager and Financial Analyst for <br />Western National Properties, a property management and investment company, and <br />served as Controller for Oak Springs, Inc., a real estate investment firm. She holds a <br />bachelor's degree in Business Administration Accounting from California State <br />University, Fullerton and is a Certified Public Accountant. <br />3. Mary Jo Goelzer, Vice President of Marketing and Communication — Mary Jo Goelzer <br />joined JHC in 2001 after working nearly 20 years at Newport Pacific Capital Company, a <br />national real estate development firm. As a Vice President, she served in several areas <br />including marketing, public and private syndication, mortgage instrument programs, <br />portfolio management, sales, financing, association management, and as a legal liaison. <br />Previously, she was Director of Investor Services at American Diversified Corporation. <br />She holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Washington. <br />4. Jose Sanchez, Vice President of Asset Management — Prior to joining JHC in 2015, Jose <br />Sanchez served as the Chief Financial Officer at Eagle Real Estate Group where he was <br />responsible for all aspects of corporate financial functions and the oversight of a $.5 <br />billion property portfolio. Prior to his work at Eagle, Jose was the Director of Strategic <br />Planning at The Irvine Company and a Portfolio Manager at Edison Capital.
