STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />UNDERSTANDING OF NEED <br />On an as -needed basis, Cannon will provide the <br />City of Santa Ana with professional staff to perform <br />engineering, technical and administrative tasks <br />for the delivery of Public Works Services. These <br />tasks may include: Engineering design for street <br />rehabilitation and street widening projects plans <br />and specifications; Underground utility design and <br />review for water, sewer and storm drain plans and <br />specifications; Electrical and Mechanical consulting, <br />review of design of plans and specifications for <br />water infrastructure review of and processing of right <br />of way maps and legal descriptions; Engineering <br />and administrative support of Neighborhood Traffic <br />Management and Residential Permit Parking <br />program; Landscaping and irrigation system design <br />for public work projects. Iteris, Inc. will provide Traffic <br />services. <br />Upon the City's request to provide staff, all candidates <br />will be pre-screened by Cannon to confirm they match <br />the City's requested need. Cannon's Project Manager <br />will meet with the City's staff to ensure that the City's <br />requested need is understood as needed on each <br />assignment. Up to three candidates will be provided <br />for each requested position and interviews will occur <br />as needed. <br />It is understood that registered Professional Engineers <br />and Licensed Land Surveyors may be required to sign <br />plans, specifications and contract legal documents. <br />Our Project Manager, Gary Solsona, PE, QSD, <br />will meet with the City on a regular basis to see that <br />each placed candidate is meeting the needs of the <br />City. The Project Manager will also meet with the <br />placed candidate on a regular basis to make sure the <br />candidate's needs are being met. <br />
