He has served at various Cities under <br />Transtech's City Engineering Contracts, including Temple City, <br />Huntington Park, and Alhambra. Mr. Ackerman managed Engineering <br />and CIP attended and coordinated with COG Regional Transportation <br />Planning, GWMA Gateway Water Management Association, and Los <br />Angeles Upper Reach 2 Storm Water Management Group. He is very <br />familiar with the local and regional agencies and goals. He has a broad <br />knowledge of municipal government operations, including preparation and <br />presentation of staff reports/resolutions to city councils, committees and <br />interaction with public, various city departments, city council and other <br />governmental agencies. <br />Mr. Ackerman's experience also Includes working at Caltrans and <br />other agencies: <br />Caltrans District 8: Mr. Ackerman was a civil transportation engineer for <br />Caltrans District 8 where he was involved in the design and construction <br />of various projects. <br />• Construction Division: In the Construction Division, Mr. Ackerman <br />was Resident Engineer for various projects, including: <br />o Watson Wash Bridge Replacement Right (Rte 40) <br />o Replacement of Drains and Earthwork (Rte 40) <br />o Fenner Overhead Bridge Replacement (Replacement of two <br />bridges over BNSF Railroad, Rte 40). <br />Design Division: Designed plans, specifications, and estimates for the <br />rehabilitation of Route 10 freeway from the Riverside/San Bernardino <br />County line to Beaumont. <br />Traffic Operations Division: Performed studies and analyses to <br />interpret and mitigate above average accident volume areas on <br />highways and freeways. Also, he performed traffic studies. <br />City of San Bernardino: Mr. Ackerman held the position of Associate <br />Engineer under City Engineer of the Division of Public Works in the <br />Department of Development Services. He was involved in many projects <br />including Development Review and Plan Check, design and review of <br />Street Improvement Plans, Rough and Precise Grading Plans, Sewer <br />Plans, Storm Drain Plans, Street Lighting Plans, Storm Water Pollution <br />Prevention Plans, Water Quality Management Plans, Geotechnical <br />Reports, and Hydrology/Hydraulic Studies, land development, industrial, <br />commercial, residential, and transportation development projects <br />including Tract and Parcel Maps. He also directed and performed plan <br />check of improvement plans submitted by developers to the City.
