She served as Office <br />Engineer responsible for all Caltrans documentation as well as <br />Community Outreach for the Rte 71/Mission Grade Separation Project <br />(Federally Funded, $40m), Washington BI Widening and <br />Reconstruction Project (Federally Funded, $38m), and the Bogert Trail <br />Bridge Widening Project ($5M). Her rolls Included all community <br />correspondence, community meeting presentations and organization, <br />public notices, etc. <br />Ms. Demirci also prepares grant applications and helped facilitate <br />over $20 million in funding for clients' public works and transportation <br />Improvement projects. She has worked in the Public Works <br />Department and assists In the preparation of staff reports, contract <br />administration, RFP preparation, CIP Budget preparation, bid <br />analysis, budgeting, traffic safety and calming studies, stop and signal <br />warrants/studies, traffic impact studies, traffic calming reports, and <br />responding to requests from Public and City Officials. She also <br />prepares grant applications for transportation related projects <br />Including detailed figures, diagrams, and exhibits. Ms. Demirci <br />regularly attends Traffic Commission and City Council Meetings <br />presenting on various items. Her Prior experience includes working <br />as in the Energy and Environment Department of the Mayor's <br />preparing infrastructure grants and project management for 3 years <br />at the City of Los Angeles while completing her civil engineering <br />degree at Cal Poly. <br />Examples of her project experience includes: <br />Traffic and Transportation Engineering Experience (2010-present) <br />• Traffic Commission: As part of Transtech's Municipal Services <br />Contract, Ms. Demirci also assists in the preparation of traffic safety <br />and calming studies, stop and signal warrants/studies, traffic impact <br />studies, calming reports, responding to requests from Public and <br />City Officials. She also attends Traffic Commission meetings and <br />assists in presentations of reports. <br />This task included conducting existing inventory counts in the field <br />and assisting cities to come up with solutions to parking demands. <br />Eneineerinn and Radar Speed Survey for Various Cities: This <br />task included the radar field survey, field observations, and <br />calculation of 85th percentile speeds, preparation of city maps and <br />preparation of report.
