SECTION 2 <br />Scope of Services & Schedule <br />In the sections following, we have provided typical scopes of work for the main areas of the RFP <br />we propose to provide services in: <br />o Engineering Plan Review <br />o Project Management <br />o Engineering & Administrative Support of the City's Neighborhood Traffic Management <br />& Residential Permit Parking Program <br />o Construction Management, Project Inspection, & Oversight <br />Interwest does not propose to provide design, survey, or accounting services forthis contract. We <br />are however fully capable of providing the Building Inspection and GIS Analyst services implied <br />in the list of potentially required personnel, but omitted from the scope of work. We have Included <br />hourly rates for these positions in the fee schedule, and would be happy to provide a scope of <br />work and a list of qualified candidates for these potions upon request. <br />Schedule <br />Within 48 hours of the City alerting us of a need, we will supply the City with a list of candidates <br />and resumes to fill a particular position. Our proposed staff are local, so we anticipate candidates <br />would be available for interviews with City staff with minimal advance notice. <br />Engineering Plan Review <br />Our team of plan review engineers Is committed to meeting the needs of our clients. We work with <br />you to efficiently review and approve plans and maintain schedules. We guarantee the highest <br />level of quality through the plan check cycle, from planning and design to construction completion. <br />Areas of focus include: <br />• Street improvement, rehabilitation, and widening plans <br />• Water, sewer, utilities, and water Infrastructure plans <br />• Mechanical and Electrical plans <br />• Traffic and road striping plans <br />• Map Checking <br />• Wireless facility permit processing <br />Related tasks also include: <br />• Preparation of Conditions of Approval <br />• Conducting research on the project <br />• Attending Planning Commission meetings <br />• Preparing the scope of work and reviewing traffic impact analysis <br />• Reviewing and commenting on EIRs for private development <br />• Calculating impact fees <br />• Meeting with City staff to coordinate conditions of development <br />• Meeting with private engineers and developers regarding public works matters <br />INTERWEST <br />CONSULTING GROUP Page 11 <br />25F-63 <br />
