The list will be published later this year, and state <br />funding restrictions will go into effect on January 1, 2015 for any city not in compliance. <br />In order to add your city to the list of charter cities that are eligible to receive state <br />funding or financial assistance for construction projects, please confirm that your city is in <br />compliance or will be in compliance with the following laws: <br />• Senate Bill 7 — See Labor Code section 1782 <br />• Senate Bill 829 - See Public Contract Code section 2503; and <br />• Senate Bill 922 — see Public Contract Code sections 2500, 2501 and 2502. <br />Please respond within 10 days of receipt of this letter. If you have already responded to <br />this office regarding Senate Bill 7, you may confine your response to Senate Bills 829 and 922. <br />This information can be e-mailed to mgallery@dir.ca.gov or faxed to (916) 928-3196.
