Their commitment to develop an affordable balance between <br />supply and demand has made "finding" water a priority. <br />To encourage agencies that have not already installed water -efficient landscape equipment to do <br />so, SoCal Water$mart has unveiled the Public Agency Landscape (PAL) program, offering <br />enhanced incentives paid up -front for public agencies to install water -efficient landscape devices <br />at their facilities and on their grounds. Exhibit 1 describes the Terms and Conditions of this <br />program. <br />The City is proposing to install nine central computer irrigations controllers at Centennial Park. <br />The project is approximately $25,000 and the incentive program would provide $23,760 in <br />incentive funding. The incentive amount is $55 per station. The project would involve nine <br />controllers with 48 stations per controller. The department's General Fund budget for <br />maintenance covers the $1,300 difference between the cost and incentive. <br />20B-1 <br />
