Do <br />Ramos absent <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION ACTION <br />On July 11, 2019, the Historic Resources Commission (HRC) recommended that the City Council <br />authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the above referenced Mills Act <br />agreement (Exhibit 1) with the identified property owners for the historic structures, subject to <br />non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />This action allows for the approval of a Historic Property Preservation Agreement (Mills Act <br />Contract), which provides a potential property tax reduction whereby property owners agree to <br />reinvest the tax savings towards the maintenance of the historic property. Additionally, the <br />agreement prevents inappropriate alterations to protect the historic structure(s). <br />The historic structure(s) under consideration for approval of a Mills Act Contract includes the <br />following: <br />25F-1 <br />
