CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2019-20 <br /> <br />REQUEST: Filed by Core Development Services, representing Crown Castle, to renew the <br />entitlements of an existing 60-foot high major wireless ("mono-pine") communications facility <br />located at 2210 North Grand Avenue in the Arterial Commercial (C-5) zone. <br /> <br />General Notes: Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on June 14, 2019 <br />and notices mailed on June 13, 2019. Decision on this matter is final unless appeal within <br />10 days. <br /> <br />Case Planner Guevara provided a staff presentation. Staff requested condition no. 8 <br />(Property Maintenance Agreement) be removed as it is unnecessary. Commission <br />expressed concern with the possible deterioration of the mono-pine. Staff indicated that <br />there are conditions of approval in place to address this issue. <br /> <br />Chair McLoughlin opened the Public Hearing. The following individuals spoke on the matter. <br /> <br />• John Dietrich, applicant, spoke in support of the matter. Answered questions <br />regarding landscape and equipment. <br /> <br />There were no other speaker and the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Adopt a resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 2019-27 OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />NO. 2019-20 AS CONDITIONED TO RENEW THE ENTITLEMENTS OF AN EXISTING 60- <br />FOOT TALL MAJOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITY LOCATED AT 2210
