EXHIBIT A <br />Conditions for Approval of Regional Planned Sign Program No. 2018-01 <br /> <br />Regional Planned Sign Program No. 2018-01 is approved subject to compliance, to the reasonable <br />satisfaction of the Planning Manager, with all applicable sections of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, <br />the California Administrative Code, the California Building Standards Code and all other applicable <br />regulations. <br /> <br />The Applicant must comply in full with each and every condition listed below prior to exercising the <br />rights conferred by this sign program. <br /> <br />The Applicant must remain in compliance with all conditions listed below throughout the life of the <br />sign program. Failure to comply with each and every condition may result in the revocation of the <br />sign program. <br /> <br />A. Planning Division <br /> <br />1. All signs not identified within this sign program shall be prohibited. <br /> <br />2. The maximum size of the signs shall be limited to the square footage identified in Table 1 of <br />the staff report. <br /> <br />3. There shall be a maximum of one (1) double-faced digital sign for the project (currently <br />installed on the building). <br /> <br />4. The property owner shall comply with Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-638.2 that <br />pertains to graffiti abatement. <br /> <br />5. At all times, the digital sign shall continue to comply with all federal, state and local laws, <br />regulations and permitting requirements. <br /> <br />6. Any signage affixed to the Cube shall incorporate “Santa Ana” or the City logo into the text <br />of the banner. <br /> <br />7. A minimum of 67 percent of the signage area of the Cube banner shall be devoted to a <br />special display or event occurring at the Cube. <br /> <br />8. No roof top inflatables, except for the Bubblefest inflatable, shall be permitted on the <br />premises. <br /> <br />9. The identifier “Santa Ana” shall be permanently affixed to the Cube and the digital reader <br />board once revised plans for both signs is submitted for review. <br /> <br />10. Illumination shall be prohibited on all temporary (banner and inflatable) signage. <br /> <br />11. Any amendment to this regional planned sign program must be submitted to the Planning <br />Division for review. At that time, staff will determine if administrative relief is available or the <br />approved sign program must be amended. <br /> <br />4-14
