Note that the parking requirement for the Mall Uses (retail, restaurant, and <br />cinema) is derived by using the average of the range of rates (the average of 3.75 and 4.0, <br />which is 3.875), and that the GFA is factored by 81.75% to estimate Net Square Footage. This <br />is consistent with the parking assumptions in the Request for Council Action, November 20, <br />2000, Vesting Tentative Parcel Map No. 99-132 for MainPlace Mall. <br />MainPlace Mall – Parking Requirements for Existing Development <br />The existing MainPlace Mall consists of 1,130,000 gross square feet of retail, restaurant, and <br />cinema uses (Mall Uses). Based on the approved parking standard, the required parking for <br />the existing MainPlace Mall development is shown on Table 4.
